Main

Oksana Kelenov (She/Her)

Oksana Kelenov (‘Sana’ to friends, and just ‘Kelenov’ to enemies) is an El-Khalaban-born, Dulkatian-raised Frame Pilot… in training, anyways. The adoptive child of three former Frame pilots, Sana has said she wanted to be a pilot pretty much since she could talk. Born without a fully formed right arm, Sana wears a custom-built prosthetic.

Gordan Lockwright (He/Him)

Gordan ‘Gordie’ Lockwright is a Pilot Recruit in the RFI, an avid member of Mt. Killian’s Boxing Club, and an all around friendly face. With fiery red hair and a unendingly cheery temperament, Gordie is a reliable friend and an even more reliable sarcastic sidekick. Best friends with Morgan, and to everyone’s surprise, it’s mutual?

Morgan Kallum (She/Her)

Morgan Kallum is a bit of an enigma amongst the recruits of Mt. Killian, and she sure as hell isn’t about to explain her entire life story. Although she’s careful not to say much about her time before joining the RFI, her aloof, sardonic, and sometimes downright hateful attitude towards others has often caught her in a jam. She’s El-Khalaban… probably.

Catherine Tallet-Smith (She/Her)

Catherine ‘Kat’ Tallet-Smith is a quiet and reserved soul, more content amongst stacks of books than her classmates. However, despite this, she strikes up a quick friendship with both her fellow teammates and Oksana, who bond over their shared languages. She has a particular fondness for Astrophysics and stellar phenomena. Originally from Chevan, though she rarely says much about it.

Dolly DeSanto (She/Her)

Dolly DeSanto is one of the most respected pilots in the current class of Recruits, and she knows it. Skilled and adaptable, Dee has been through three consecutive years of Pilot training so far, and She hopes this year her luck will change. Has an on-again-off-again rivalry with Morgan, and hates Sana’s guts for complex reasons. Fiercely protective of her Fireteam.

Marko Ellaqan (He/Him)

Streams-of-Light-Between-the-Branches Marko Ellaqan, or just Marko as he’s known to most, is the definition of a friendly giant. He has burn scars across his body that he rarely hides, but equally rarely talks about. Marko is deaf, and speaks primarily in Federal Standard Sign Language (FSSL), roughly equivalent to our BSL. He’s quick to help others, but not so talkative about himself

Col. Reo Amestine (They/Them)

Colonel Reo Amestine is a former Frame pilot, having recently promoted out of active duty. They are a person of few, calculated words, rarely showing emotion; despite this, they are quite respected amongst the population of Mt. Killian Base. They are a personal mentor to Oksana, being the one to pick her up after her first… ‘incident’ piloting Off-Kilter.

Side

The Kelenovs

Voleno, Saima, and Rigel Kelenov are three former Frame pilots, having left the Frame Infantry to raise their adoptive daughter, Oksana, together. They each have wildly varying opinions on their time in the Infantry, but as Sana can attest, all of them have stories to tell from that time. They live together on a ranch in Dulkat.

Mshl. Edward Sulhan (He/Him)

Marshal Edward Sulhan is one of the leaders of the the RFI, being given personal command of the RFI training facility of Mt. Killian. Having served as a Frame Pilot during early stages of the Free States War, Sulhan has risen the ranks in the years since to become a capable commanding officer. He personally trained Reo, just as Reo is now training Oksana.

Maj. James Lucy (He/Him)

Major James Lucy is the current commanding officer of Oracle Squadron, a Frame squadron benched since their previous leader, Colonel Amestine, promoted out of active service. Mild-mannered and friendly (perhaps too much for a military officer), Lucy often serves as ‘good cop’ to Captain A’ola’s ‘bad cop’.

Cpt. Keio A’ola (She/Her)

In stark contrast to her other teammates (both former and current) in Oracle Squadron, Captain Keio A’ola is a brash, loud, and stern figure, only occasionally breaking out moments of levity, especially amongst the members of her boxing club. A’ola hails from Saijora, and prominently displays the ceremonial tattoos of her people on her arms. She pilots RFI Sunspot.

Paris O’Hailley (He/They)

Technician 2nd Class Paris O’Hailley is perhaps the only person who can counter A’ola’s explosive temperament, usually doing so by way of sarcasm. A jokster to put even Gordie to shame, Paris is a combat technician without a war to fight in, and as such gets perhaps a bit too much fun out of watching/setting up/partaking in sparring matches. When not fighting, he has a passion for reaction physics, specifically around recently developed nuclear technology.

Clara Fernadina (She/Her)

Clara Fernadina is a nurse within the RFI’s specialist medical corps, having met Cpt. A’ola and the rest of Oracle Squadron on a operation several years ago. Formerly a Pilot Recruit, Clara, like most recruits, aged out before she could find a compatible Frame. Clara loves reading fiction, especially magical realism, romance, or a combination of the two. She comes from Ezrelon, on the east coast of Raelith.
