“A Nation is not truly independent without its Frames to protect it.”

The Inaugural address of President Tshone, of the Federation of Raelith

Oksana Kelenov has always been on the outside, looking in. A refugee from a distant land, with no connection to her geneal home beyond her skintone, Sana feels welcome neither in her adopted homeland, nor amongst her ancestral heritage.

From a young age, Sana has looked upwards and outwards, trying to find a place – her place – to belong. And when all three of her adoptive parents once piloted towering humanoid war machines called Frames, it’d come as no surprise when she wants to follow in their footsteps.

Sana has grown up adamant that she wants to become a Frame pilot, like her family. But becoming a pilot isn’t easy. Compatibility issues, her disabilities, and her heritage all marr her already slim chances. But after a fateful connection sends Sana’s world into a tailspin, her lifelong dream singes at the edges of her grasp…

Will she seize it?
