The Story So Far

Greetings Pilots,

The Story of Frameshift is split into Volumes, which are divided into three Arcs each. Arcs are then further subdivided into Chapters. At time of writing, a chapter releases every other week. If that ever changes, you’ll hear about it first on our Tumblr.

Volume 2

Although the current version of Volume 2 is canon, I wouldn’t recommend reading this until all of Volume 1’s rewrite is released! However, if you’re determined to do so, you can read the archived version of Volume 1 in the Archives below.

Arc 4

Red Herrings and White Whales

Red Herrings and White Whales (aka RHAWWs) are short stories, short fiction, poetry, and any other Frameshift writings that don’t follow the main story of Frameshift. Though these stories may involve characters from the main story, they’re primarily a way to explore themes and ideas we just don’t have time to follow Oksana’s foray into the world of Piloting.

Most RHAWWs are Standalone, and will be listed as such. However, some RHAWWs belong to collections of interconnected stories, which will get their own special sections!

Standalone

the family jaga

What does Legacy mean when its written in blood?

Wyatt Jaga was perhaps one of the greatest Frame Pilots of all time – a fact he wishes to forget. But as Jaga grows older and wiser, he’s forced to confront the future; what will he leave for his descendents? What will become of his daughter? Can he, the father of Frames, save the world from them?

The Archive

Every chapter listed here will remain accessible and readable for the foreseeable, but is no longer considered canon. If you enjoyed the original version of Frameshift, feel free to read it here!
